|science : Oceans Unit|
We were working on our Ocean Life unit and had been studying all aspects of the ocean and the sea life. Students researched an ocean animal or plant of their choice, created a 3D model of their chosen animal/plant, wrote a card about the animal/plant and created a power point presentation for the class. We turned our room into an underwater experience, complete with "water" for windows, real sand and a treasure chest. To finish it off, we even played the Disney sound track "Under the Sea". My students really enjoyed coming to science and working in their "watery environment"
