This winter bulletin board displays Robert Frost's poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. I wanted to design a winter bulletin board for a middle school classroom which was not too juvenile and focused on the beauty of the season. I made it three-dimensional by using actual twigs as trees and brown felt stuffed a little with paper to represent the ground. The twigs were hot-glued to the background paper. I found snow paint at Hobby Lobby and, using a little water to dilute, painted the trees and ground in about 20 minutes. Students could also do this if they are careful. The cleanup only requires soap and water.
