![]() The board is made strictly of colored butcher paper and construction paper. Any writing was done with markers. I placed sky blue butcher paper on the top 3/4 of board. I lined large green construction paper along the bottom to serve as grass and up the hill. The rainbow was constructed by my fourth graders. The sun rays are also hand prints. The rest was just cut out raindrops, shamrocks, road and clouds. I used in the hallway at our school during March, just to brighten things up! The blessing is as follows: "May the road rise up to meet you, may the sun shine on your face, may the wind always be at your back, and may the rain fall softly on your fields, and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand." Each picture is labeled with the part of the blessing that pertains to it. (e.g. the sun has under it, may the sun shine on your face) At the bottom are random colored pieces. I let the kids type school blessings on our handhelds and stick them up with the Irish blessing. (e.g. May you always do your best. May you always get good grades.)
