A Rainbow of Our Own Tracy Austin, Sparta Grade Level: Kindergarten

The students in the AM and PM kindergarten classes traced their hands onto construction paper. The handprints were used to make the rainbow. The students traced the umbrellas and handles onto construction paper, and glued them together. They wrote the four types of rain on the four raindrops: rain, snow, sleet, and hail. The raindrops were tied to the umbrellas with yarn. I made the letters and the sun. This activity went along with our study of weather.
