Falling Into Good Grammar Carrie Newman, Scott Depot, WV Grade Level: 5th

I love fall! It is my favorite time of year, and I love to decorate my room with a harvest theme. This bulletin board, "Falling into Good Grammar" was great. I used a scarecrow theme on the board's trim, and with it I used a 5 ft. scarecrow that I had purchased at Walmart for about $6. It is originally attached to a pole for lawn use, but I cut the pole off and just stapled the garment to my bulletin board. I used some other 3-D effects (the pussy willow branches and some leaves) and attached them to the board. I made my lettering with Printmaster and cut each letter out--I stapled them in a 3-D effect on my board. On the leaves that border the bottom of the board I wrote parts of speech. The leaves were all cut out from a Sizzix machine.
