![]() I used this bulletin board to teach the children about the different ways that computers can be harmed with computer bugs and why they call them "bugs". To make the board I used plain butcher paper for the background and bordered it with twisted green butcher paper to resemble vines. I then made 3-D flowers by cutting out petals in different shapes and colors then bunched them up at the bottom and folded out the "petals" and attached them to the board near the vines. I finished the border with leaves from construction paper so they would remain sturdy. I then created two large 3-D bugs with butcher paper and placed one off each corner to give it the "crawling" effect. The bugs we talked about were malware, virus, Trojan horses, droppers, worms, and spywares. Each of the words I printed using the "Chiller" font on MS Word and placed a different bug next to each word. I then finished it with die cut letters spelling "WATCH OUT FOR COMPUTER BUGS".
