bulletin boards
By: Jenn

I had pretty fun one last year. I put up a sheet of black paper and put on a colorful border. I then put up a title: Wacky Web Sites... The kids then took chalk or a white crayon and wrote their favorite sites on the board. These had to be approved before posting, of course. They enjoyed trying new sites and I noticed more computer activity at home. Truly easy!

bulletin board for a computer class

I've made a board that has pictures, proper names and short explanation on parts of a computer system. Having the board allowed me to discuss and point to the parts and make sure that students were able to know, identify, and use the proper names and know the use of those parts.

computer center bulletin board

The first week of school I cut frames from white construction paper. About the width of a wide ruler. The inside smaller than 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. The children decorate their own frame. I laminate it, after laminating I use clear tape to attach a back. I can now use these in the hall, on my bulletin boards, or classroom clothesline. I create quick banners to match whatever we are doing in class. They love them and it protects their work from damage.
