![]() The simplicity of this bulletin board is a large part of its appeal. I use black fabric (2 1/2 yds) to cover the board because it is easier to handle and reusable. The dancer came from a piece of clip art downloaded from a free site and enlarged. The tie-dyed border was purchased from a teacher supply store, and the letters were cut from tie-dyed scrapbooking paper. To add texture, I glued black shredded gift packing to the hair for an "afro" look. Our school boasts a diverse student body and I enjoy representing different groups in my displays, and promoting reading is essential. This board was uncluttered and seasonless, and we've enjoyed it this school year.
